An inclusive fire and rescue service
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service’s purpose is to create safer people and safer places. We do this by providing an emergency response service to over one million people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year.
We have a total of 20 fire and rescue stations strategically placed around Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Each one is equipped and crewed to enable effective delivery of not only emergency response, but also to undertake a large proportion of prevention and education work within the local communities we serve. The Service also builds strong relationships with other organisations and associations to help target vulnerable people to reduce domestic fires and their devastating consequences. All of this is supported by a team of professionals, from ICT specialists to Human Resources and Finance professionals.
We want to ensure the working environments we create are inclusive and we promote diversity in our workforce as an asset, helping us better understand and reflect the diverse communities we serve.
All of our staff are passionate about serving our communities and, ultimately, helping create safer people and safer places. If you are also passionate about making Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland a safer place to live, work and visit, consider joining our family by taking a closer look at our current vacancies.
